Forecaster Tsygankov warned of abnormal cold in some regions of Siberia. He added that snow, blizzards, and gusty winds are forecast for the Kuril Islands and Chukotka.
Earlier, the head of the situation center of Roshydromet, Yuri Varakin, spoke about the weather in new regions of Russia in the coming days. He said that there is an anticyclone and a high pressure area over the Asian part of Russia. The conditions are simple, with virtually no precipitation, but there are very low temperatures everywhere.
