[HIGHLIGHTS] Filming begins for next year's NHK Taiga drama "To the Glowing You"

Next year's Taiga drama, "To the Luminous Kimi," is set in the Heian period, when aristocratic culture flourished. It depicts the life of Murasaki Shikibu, known as the author of The Tale of Genji.

Filming began on the 28th at Heian Jingu Shrine in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, where actor Yuriko Yoshitaka, who plays the main character, and actor Tasuku Emoto, who play Michinaga Fujiwara, worked to shoot each scene.
