Singer Isaak will compete for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Malmö, Sweden. Isaak won both the jury vote and the audience vote at the preliminary round.
Max Mutzke, who was at the ESC final 20 years ago, came in second. In recent years, Germany has regularly performed disappointingly; last year the group Lord of the Lost came last. Because the Swede Loreen won, the final will take place in MalMö.
