Carmen was known for songs like "Go All the Way" or "Hungry Eyes" Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1949, he rose to fame in 1976 with the song “All by Myself” He is survived by two children, Kathryn and Clayton, who he had with his second wife, Susan. He married his third wife, Amy Murphy, in 2016, and they have a son, Michael, who was born in 1998.
