Businessman Jan Stenbeck's life will be portrayed in a new drama series on SVT. In the lead role will be Norwegian actor Jakob Oftebro.
The entrepreneur is mainly known for founding several technology and media companies during the 1900s. The series is supposed to air only in 2025, with five episodes to be filmed in five years. The projects were presented during the Cannes Film Festival and will follow StenBeck from 1977 to 1992 in five episodes, during this period he took over the family business Kinnevik and outmanoeuvred his sister.
