On the 12th, the entrance ceremony of the University of Tokyo was held. More than 3000,23 new students started their university life.

The percentage of female students is <>%, the highest ever. The number of new students this year was 2,3126, and 23% of them were women. The University ofTokyo set a goal of achieving a female student ratio of 10% about 30 years ago. It still remained in the 2% range. The university has made every effort to achieve this goal.
