Twelve people were stuck on the roller coaster at Hong Kong Disneyland. It took around an hour to get all passengers safely off the train.
Nothing is yet known about the causes of the failure. The operators have not yet commented on the incident. The ride was scheduled for routine maintenance and inspection from February 26 to March 1, 2024. It is described as an excursion into the Star Wars universe, where, among other things, you experience steep descents into the dark. No smoke was seen and no people were injured.
