Denso records new recall-related costs of over 150 billion yen. According to the report, approximately 4.3 million cars and motorcycles in Japan have been recalled due to defects in fuel pumps manufactured by Denso.

Denso has already disclosed that there was a quality problem with its fuel pumps in 2020, and has so far recorded costs of approximately 290 billion yen to respond to the recall. Due to these factors, the forecast for the group's final profit for this fiscal year has been revised downward from the previous 470billion yen to 380billion yen.
