Student, 13, critically injured in altercation on school grounds in Delmenhorst, Lower Saxony. A 14-year-old attacked him with a knife on Friday morning, the police said.
The perpetrator turned himself in to the school administration and was arrested. The background to the incident is still unclear, it was said, and the investigation is ongoing. The injured student was responsive, was treated on site by rescue workers and is now in a hospital. The altercation took place on a school site in Stubbenweg in the west of the city.
