Kosovan convicted of manslaughter arrested at Düsseldorf airport. Convicted of manslaughter in 1998 and deported from Germany 17 years earlier.
Arrest warrant against the now 65-year-old man was issued almost 17 years ago. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison; at the time of his deportation in 2007, the man still had a good four and a half years to serve. According to the Code of Criminal Procedure, enforcement can be carried out if the convicted person returns to Germany.
