On the Choshi Electric Railway, a local line that runs through Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, signs installed along the tracks were removed by someone. Police believed that this was a malicious act for the purpose of taking pictures of the cars.
Chashi Electric Railway said, "We ask that you please use common sense etiquette when taking photos.'' The line had just started operating newly purchased second-hand cars, and there were many railway fans crowding along the line, so the police believed that the act was malicious.
