Chiba Andersen Park windmill is back in operation for the first time in about five and a half years after renovation work. "Funabashi Andersen Park" is a park in Funabashi City that is approximately eight times the size of Tokyo Dome.
As it is a sister city with Hans Christian Andersen's hometown, Odense City in Denmark, it has buildings and plazas that are inspired by scenes from fairy tales. You can see the windmills spinning on weekends and holidays, and until the 21st of next month there will be flower beds shaped like the Danish flag.
