Central Meteorological Observatory issued three warnings for cold wave, strong winds and dust. Severe cooling has occurred from north to south, with the average temperature generally falling by 8 to 12°C.
Temperatures in Guizhou and other places will drop by 12 to 18 degrees Celsius. There are blowing sand or floating dust in parts of most parts of the country and western Shanxi, and there are local sandstorms in the Xinjiang Basin, northern Ningxia, and northern Shaanxi.
