Beijing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee launches anti-telecommunications network fraud law enforcement inspection. Last year, more than 7.3 billion yuan in economic losses were avoided through early warning and dissuasion work.
The focus of the inspection includes telecom business operators' implementation of user real-name registration and verification systems, establishment and implementation of IoT card user risk assessment systems, strengthening technical countermeasures, blocking and interception of fraud-related calls and traceability verification. Internet service providers will also be inspected.
