Beijing Rail Transit will achieve initial operation of 3 (sections) of approximately 45.3 kilometers of lines this year. It is expected that by the end of this year, Beijing’s urban rail transit operating mileage will exceed 880 kilometers.
The first phase of Line 3 (Dongsishitiao-Dongfeng), Line 12 (Sijiqing-Dongsfeng) and the Changping Line South Extension 1. will be completed and opened to traffic. Beijing will also start the full construction of the Line 1 branch line and the first phases of Line M101.
