  On the 22nd, the Beijing Major Project Construction Headquarters held a mobilization and deployment meeting for rail transit construction work, and the "2024 Beijing Urban Rail Transit Construction Plan" was officially released.

  Yang Liming, Director of the First Rail Division of the Beijing Major Project Office, introduced that this year, Beijing Rail Transit will realize the first phase of Line 3 (Dongsishitiao-Dongfeng), Line 12 (Sijiqing-Dongfeng), and the Changping Line South Extension 1. Three lines (sections) including the remaining sections of the phase (Xitucheng-Jimenqiao) were opened to continuously improve the level of rail transit services.

  Among them, the first phase of Line 3 (Dongsishitiao-Dongfeng) is a rail transit trunk line running from east to west. The line is about 15.7 kilometers long and has 10 stations.

After completion and opening to traffic, a number of north-south and east-west rail transit trunk lines will be connected in series, greatly improving the accessibility of the city's rail transit network and the convenience of passenger travel, effectively solving the problem of passenger flow connection at Beijing Chaoyang Station, and improving traffic in eastern Beijing. travel.

  Line 12 (Sijiqing-Dongfeng) is an arterial rail transit line mainly laid east-west along the North Third Ring Road. The line is about 28.9 kilometers long, spanning four administrative regions, and has 20 stations.

After it is completed and opened to traffic, it will be interchangeable with 12 lines.

At the same time, the construction work of 10 lines (sections) and 201.7 kilometers under construction including the Pinggu Line has been comprehensively promoted.
