16-year-old from Upper Bavaria died after a skiing accident in Tyrol. She fell onto the slopes while riding over a freestyle jump in the Christlum ski area near Achenkirch.
The skier reportedly sustained serious injuries in the hard impact. The teenager was resuscitated on site after the accident and taken to a clinic in Innsbruck by helicopter. She died there on Monday from her serious injuries a few days later. The teenager from Beilngries in the Eichstätt district died on Friday.
