The annual "Carp streamer festival" has begun at Tsuetate Onsen in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture. Carp streamers were strung up for about 800 meters, and visitors were able to take photos of the colorful carp streamers swimming energetically in the breeze.
The festival will be held until May 6th, and there will also be a light-up event from 7pm to 10pm. The local tourism association has held the carp streamer Festival every year for more than 40 years.
