American actor Carl Weathers, the iconic Apollo Creed in the “Rocky” saga, is dead. He died this Friday at the age of 76.

He had appeared in more than 75 films, including the Star Wars series. Before becoming an actor, he began his career as an American football player in the 1970s, playing eight games with the Oakland Raiders. He was opposed to Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film "Predator". But he also starred in series like “The Mandalorian”, the StarWars series, where he played the role of bounty hunter Greef Karga.
