Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi says withdrawal of Israeli forces from Khan Yunis indicates decline in combat efficiency. Israeli army withdrew 4th “Kryati” brigade and 55 reserve paratroopers, claiming that they had finished their combat missions, but it sent other forces in their place.

He says increase in number of officers in lower ranks of the army indicates incompetence in dealing with critical situations in combat. He believes that there are no longer attacks in the north on a broad front, but rather limited and framed operations.
