Airport company proposes construction of new station to connect to new terminal at Narita Airport. Plans are underway to construct a third runway C and extend runway B, aiming for the end of March 2029.
The new terminal will have a total floor area of 1 million to 1.2 million square meters. The number of parking lots with boarding bridges will be 100, about 30 more than the current number. The meeting plans to consider the future of the cargo area and compile recommendations by the summer.
