At a meeting held in Tokyo on the 6th, the Narita Airport Company announced that of the two stations currently used for rail access, Narita Airport Station, which connects to Terminal 1, will be abolished in the future. , presented a plan to create a new station that would connect to the new terminal, with the proposed location to the south of the current Terminal 2.
The new terminal will have a total floor area of 1 million square meters to 1.2 million square meters, which is slightly larger than the current three terminals combined, and the number of parking lots with boarding bridges will be 100, about 30 more than the current number.
