Ten-ton rock falls onto a road in Austria. Two occupants of a car were injured in the rock fall in the Austrian state of Salzburg.

A cow that the two farmers were carrying in a trailer was seriously injured. The animal had to be slaughtered. A geologist examined the crash site and ruled out any risk of further rock falls. After several hours of clearing work, the road was reopened to traffic in the Abtenau area of the state. The driver was unable to get out of the way in time.
