A train and a passenger car collided at a railroad crossing in Osaka. None of the 10 passengers were injured, and the barrier that had been down just before the train passed went up.

The Nankai Electric Railway Koya Line has suspended operation on the up and down lines between Shiomibashi and Kishisato-Tamade. The railroad crossing alarm had stopped sounding at the time of the accident, so the company and the police are investigating the cause of the crossing in detail.
