Otto Addo will return to the Ghana bench as coach of the Black Stars. He will leave Borussia Dortmund where he was training director.
The former midfielder signed a 34-month contract with a two-year extension option. He was with Ghana during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, eliminated at the end of the first round, last in their group behind Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay. Ghana has a victory against Madagascar and a defeat against the Comoros. Next June, he will take charge of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
