Pierce Brosnan says Cillian Murphy would do a great job as James Bond in His Majesty's Secret Service. Murphy's name has been among the close favorites to succeed the role of 007 for years.
Brosnan was speaking at the annual Oscar Wilde Awards, which honor Irish creative talent in Los Angeles. Bond producer Barbara Broccoli recently rejected the idea of a female Bond actress in the new film. The producer already said in an interview with SPIEGEL that she doesn't believe in rewriting originally male roles for women.
