“The Sims” announced as a film: Margot Robbie brings computer game to the screen. Kate Herron will direct and write the screenplay.
The film will be produced by LuckyChap, the production company run byMargot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr. Electronic Arts, the publisher of the video game, is also said to be involved in the film. So far it hasn't even been announced whether the movie will be animated or whether a live-action adaptation is planned.
