The cult series from the 1990s Baywatch will return to the small screen in a new version. Screenwriter Lara Olsen, who already worked on the 90210 Beverly Hills reboot, will be at the helm of this project.
For the moment, the broadcast date and the cast have not been revealed. Aired from 1989 to 2001, Baywatch has 11 seasons and 243 episodes. It attracted more than a billion viewers per week at its peak. It also contributed to the fame of its two leading actors, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
