The China-Laos Railway Friendship Tunnel is located on the border of China and Laos. In order to do a good job in the passage of international passenger trains, the railway staff of the two countries have always stayed here.
During each joint maintenance, they can have a "meeting in the air" in the tunnel. The tunnel has a total length of 9.68 kilometers, including 7.17 kilometers in the Chinese section and 2.51km in the Laos section. The operation leader of the China section overhaul was transferred to the Mohan Comprehensive Maintenance Work Area in 2021, and is now a maintenance team leader.
