Toyota Motor Corporation halts production lines at four factories, rushes to resume operations. Due to the issue of fraudulent certification of engines produced by Toyota Industries, Toyota Motor Corporation has decided to suspend production lines.
Toyota has suspended shipments of a total of 10 models, including six models for the domestic market. The company announced its policy to move quickly with the aim of resuming production, subject to confirmation by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism that the engine complies with standards.
