The largest trade fair in France, dedicated to wines and spirits, opens in a context of crisis. Wine remains the leading French agricultural sector with 15 to 20 billion euros in turnover each year and half a million jobs.

In 2023, France will be the world's leading exporter of wine. One bottle in three produced in France is sold to the Americans, the British and even the Chinese. It is the 2nd largest French export sector, behind aeronautics, but ahead of cosmetics and luxury goods.
