The Wine Paris & Vineexpo Paris opens this Monday. An event which is establishing itself as the leading European wine fair. If it takes place in France, it is because this sector is of crucial importance for our economy. Even if the sector faces challenges such as climatic hazards or the drop in consumption, it remains a French jewel.

The Wine Paris & Vineexpo Paris opens this Monday. An event that is essential in the landscape of specialized trade shows. Beyond the numbers, these are grape varieties known throughout the world which are the pride of the French vineyard. Merlot, Pinot noir or even Chardonnay, they attract hundreds of thousands of tourists. A reputation which benefits other sectors of the economy, as explained by Jean-Marie Cardebart, specialist in the economics of wine. “You have a lot of foreigners who come to France to visit the vineyard and who go to the hotel and the restaurant. Consequently, they participate in a spill of currencies from other countries into the economy”, indicates the expert .
