The government promises 10 billion euros in savings but announces nothing new. The idea of compulsory out-of-pocket costs for users of the personal training account (CPF) will be "implemented this year", Thomas Cazenave, the Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts, announced this Monday.

If the government also wants a reduction in civil servants' offices, there is nothing really new in the announcements, Margaux Fodéré says. The figure of 10 billion euro in savings itself was set by the Minister of the Economy more than six months ago now.
