Shanghai’s 2024 inter-provincial green electricity trading volume exceeded 4 billion kilowatt-hours, a new high. Shanghai took the lead in carrying out multi-year green electricity transactions with the four provinces of Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Shanxi.
Green power from Xinjiang's Kashgar, Karamay and other regions will be continuously sent to Shanghai through the Jiquan DC. It is estimated that the total green electricity transaction volume from 2024 to 2026 will be nearly 10 billionkilowatt hours.
