Sberbank's net profit at the end of 2023 grew more than five times. Earlier, Sovcombank announced it would receive a record net profit in 2023 according to preliminary unaudited financial statements.
It was also reported thatSovcombank plans to close the deal to purchase Home Bank by end of 2024. The deal is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024, according to TASS. The bank's net interest income increased over the year by 36.8%, commissions by 9.4% or by 15.4%.
