“Sber’s net profit in the fourth quarter of 2023 increased to 359.7 billion rubles.
Over the 12 months of 2023, Sber earned 1,508.6 billion rubles, increasing net profit by more than five times year-on-year,” TASS reported.
It is clarified that net interest income increased over the year by 36.8%, commissions - by 9.4% or by 15.4% excluding conversion transactions.
Earlier, Sovcombank announced it would receive a record net profit in 2023 according to preliminary unaudited financial statements.
It was also reported that Sovcombank plans to close the deal to purchase Home Bank by the end of 2024.
