On the fifth day of the first lunar month, China’s cross-regional personnel movement hit a new single-day high for the 2024 Spring Festival travel season. Among them, railway passenger volume was 14.245 million, an increase of 38.5% over the same period in 2023.
The number of highway personnel movements was 288.91 million. The Qiongzhou Strait will usher in a record-breaking transportation peak during the Spring Festival this year, it is reported.
