It is reported that as the golden waterway in Guangdong and Qiongzhou, the Qiongzhou Strait will usher in a record-breaking transportation peak during the Spring Festival this year. Now that the return peak is about to begin, coupled with periodic heavy fog and other severe weather, the Qiongzhou Strait is doing its best to ensure the return peak. The two provinces of Guangdong and Hainan, and the two cities of Zhanjiang and Haikou interact frequently and regularly share various information such as ship capacity, weather forecasts and suspension warnings, and the number of vehicles waiting to be ferried every day to ensure the accuracy of predictions and ship dispatching. Haikou New Sea Port and Xiuying Port have dynamically added some tickets for vehicles sold on the island to meet the demand for small cars to leave the island. Currently, 49 ships and 18 berths in the new seaport are operating at full capacity to ensure the smooth return of passengers. (over)
