Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia will additionally increase the production of diesel by 30 million tons by 2030 and gasoline by 5 million tons. He made a corresponding statement while speaking in the Federation Council.

Previously, the Federal Antimonopoly Service has recently opened 28 cases on the fuel market regarding violation of antimonopoly legislation in 19 regions of Russia. The Russian side will cover all its current and future needs with gasoline, according to Novak. He added that today we produce twice as much diesel fuel as is consumed on the domestic market.
