He made a corresponding statement while speaking in the Federation Council.

“According to our plans, by 2030 we should reach an additional 30 million tons of production of highly environmentally friendly diesel fuel and about 5 million tons of motor gasoline,” TASS quotes him.

According to him, in this way the Russian side will cover all its current and future needs with gasoline.

“And today we produce twice as much diesel fuel as is consumed on the domestic market, this will allow us to improve the quality of our products,” Novak added.

Previously, the Federal Antimonopoly Service has recently opened 28 cases on the fuel market regarding violation of antimonopoly legislation in 19 regions of Russia.
