National Bureau of Statistics: Industrial producer price decline narrowed in January. In January 2024, affected by fluctuations in international commodity prices, the national industrial producer prices fell by 2.5% year-on-year.
The price of means of production fell by 3.0%, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points narrower than the previous month. Among the purchasing prices for industrial producers, the prices of building materials and non-metallic materials decreased by 7.0%. The prices of ferrous metal materials and wires increased by 1.5%.
