Year-on-year changes in industrial producer prices in January

  Among the industrial producer prices, the price of means of production fell by 3.0%, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points narrower than the previous month, affecting the overall level of industrial producer prices to drop by approximately 2.23 percentage points. Among them, the price of the mining industry fell by 6.0%, the price of the raw material industry fell by 2.3%, and the price of the processing industry fell by 3.1%. The declines all narrowed. The price of daily necessities fell by 1.1%, with the decline narrowing by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, affecting the overall level of factory prices for industrial producers to drop by approximately 0.29 percentage points. Among them, food prices fell by 1.0%, clothing prices increased by 0.1%, general daily necessities prices remained unchanged, and durable consumer goods prices fell by 2.3%.

  Among the purchasing prices for industrial producers, the prices of building materials and non-metallic materials decreased by 7.0%, the prices of fuel and power decreased by 6.7%, the prices of agricultural and sideline products decreased by 5.8%, and the prices of chemical raw materials decreased by 5.7%; the prices of ferrous metal materials remained unchanged; The prices of non-ferrous metal materials and wires increased by 1.5%.

Month-on-month changes in industrial producer prices in January

  Among the industrial producer prices, the price of means of production fell by 0.2%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points narrower than the previous month, affecting the overall level of industrial producer prices to fall by about 0.17 percentage points. Among them, the price of the mining industry increased by 0.2%, the price of the raw material industry decreased by 0.2%, and the price of the processing industry decreased by 0.3%. The price of daily necessities fell by 0.2%, an increase of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, affecting the overall level of factory prices for industrial producers to drop by about 0.05 percentage points. Among them, food prices fell by 0.1%, clothing prices fell by 0.2%, general daily necessities prices remained unchanged, and durable consumer goods prices fell by 0.4%.

  Among the purchasing prices for industrial producers, the prices of agricultural and sideline products decreased by 1.0%, the prices of fuel, power and chemical raw materials both decreased by 0.8%, the prices of building materials and non-metallic materials decreased by 0.1%; the prices of ferrous metal materials increased by 0.8%, and the prices of non-ferrous metals increased by 0.8%. The prices of metal materials and wires increased by 0.3%.
