Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the share of national currencies in mutual settlements between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is 90%. The Russian Prime Minister said this during a meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council.

He named the declaration signed in December 2023, called the “Eurasian Economic Path” He recalled that the declaration envisages the expansion of areas of cooperation between the country of the union in various fields. The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that increasing payments in national currencies will become a priority of Russia's chairmanship in BRICS.
