China's State Administration for Market Regulation announced on the 12th that in 2023, China will implement a total of 214 car recalls, involving 6.728 million vehicles. The number of new energy vehicle recalls increased by 32.3% year-on-year, reaching a record high.

Defect investigations are still driving consumer product companies to implement recalls main way. In 2024, it will focus on four aspects: strengthening product safety recall supervision, optimizing the product safety recalls supervision system, in-depth advancement of the product quality and safety sandbox supervision system.
