Japan Post Bank President Norito Ikeda retires, succeeded by Vice President Takayuki Kasama. President Kento IkedA will retire on the 31st of next month, and Vice President Kasama will be promoted to his successor as president.

Mr. Kasama joined Japan Post Bank as an executive officer nine years ago after working at a foreign securities company, and has been serving as vice president since June last year. He has diversified the company's business by deepening ties with regional banks.
