Iraq: anger rises after drone attack targeting pro-Iranian armed group commander in Baghdad. On Wednesday February 7, the American army carried out a targeted attack in the heart of Baghdad against the vehicle of a senior official of an armed faction.
The Iraqi government, in a press release, denounces an American strategy which puts the civilian population in danger and once again violates Iraqi sovereignty. Some of them see this strike as a declaration of war. According to the statement from the government spokesperson, Baghdad is now obliged to demand the departure of the international coalition forces.
