Munich Ifo Institute expects inflation in Germany to fall further in the coming months. According to the survey, fewer companies in this country want to raise their prices.
Price expectations determined by the Ifo fell to 15.0 points in February, after 18.8 points in January. Price plans fell particularly sharply in accommodation as well as in art, entertainment and culture. In retail, however, price expectations rose slightly - companies in the food and beverage retail sector in particular want to increase their price.
