In 2023, the National Standards Committee approved the release of 2,902 national standards. The report further shows that standards are more effective in promoting high-efficiency local governance.
The market standards in economically developed areas are highly active, with Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shanghai and other places ranking first. Half of the provinces with strategic emerging industry standards among the top ten in the country are from the central and western regions. The Yangtze River Delta region focuses on the goals and tasks of the regional integrated development plan.
