In 2023, China will have 32.727 million new operating entities, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%. There were 22.582 million households, an increase of 11.4%.
The structure of business entities has been further optimized, with "four new economies" (new technologies, new industries, new formats, and new models) accounting for 39.4% by the end of 2023. There were more than 53 million private enterprises in China, accounting for more than 92% of the total number of enterprises.
