  At the press conference on "Precise Assistance by Type and Classification to Improve the Development Quality of Individual Industrial and Commercial Households" held in Yiwu, Zhejiang that day, the State Administration for Market Regulation introduced that in 2023, there will be 10.029 million new enterprises in China, an increase of 15.6%; There were 22.582 million households, an increase of 11.4%.

The structure of business entities has been further optimized, with "four new economies" (new technologies, new industries, new formats, and new models) accounting for 39.4%.

As of the end of 2023, the number of registered business entities nationwide reached 184 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%.

  The market supervision department’s three-year campaign of quality and technical assistance to “improve quality and strengthen enterprises” has achieved results.

Data shows that in 2023, a total of 96,000 companies were supported, including 75,000 small, medium and micro enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households, covering nearly 1,800 industrial clusters, and helping to solve more than 40,000 quality problems.
